Menze Commerce Copilot · By MENZE, Inc. · Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MENZE, Inc. ("Menze", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares information through Menze Commerce Copilot (the "Service"): a set of integrations and AI assistants that connect our clients' online stores and marketing platforms so they can analyze sales, catalog, customers and campaign performance.

Questions about this policy: privacy@menze.la.

1. Who this policy applies to

  • Clients: businesses that use the Service and connect their accounts (for example online stores, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console or Microsoft Clarity).
  • Authorized users: people who sign in and authorize those connections on behalf of a client.
  • End customers: people who bought from a client's store, whose data reaches the Service because the client connected that store. For this data the client is the data controller and Menze acts as a data processor on the client's behalf, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information we collect

a) Account and authorization data

  • Name and email address of the user who authorizes a connection.
  • OAuth access tokens issued by the provider (Meta, Google and others) when the user grants access. We never receive or store passwords for those platforms.

b) Advertising and analytics data (only when the client connects these platforms)

  • Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram): IDs and names of the ad accounts, Pages and businesses the user granted access to; campaigns, ad sets, ads and their performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and similar).
  • Google Analytics: account and property names, and aggregated traffic and conversion reports.
  • Google Ads: accessible account IDs, campaigns and performance metrics.
  • Google Search Console: verified sites and search performance metrics (queries, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position).
  • Microsoft Clarity: aggregated on-site behavior metrics.

c) Store data (only when the client connects a store, such as Magento, VTEX, WooCommerce, Tienda Nube or Mercado Libre)

  • Products, prices, stock, orders, payments, shipments, returns and promotions.
  • End-customer data the store attaches to orders: name, email, phone, ID number and shipping address.

d) Assistant conversations

  • Questions users ask the AI assistant and the assistant's answers.

3. How we use information

We use information only to provide the Service to the client that connected it:

  • to display and analyze sales, catalog and campaign performance;
  • to answer the questions users ask the AI assistant;
  • to detect and report synchronization problems (for example, an expired connection).

We do not use this information for our own advertising, we do not build profiles for third parties, we do not sell data, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.

The assistant accesses Google platforms and Microsoft Clarity in read-only mode. For Meta Ads, it can also create, edit, pause or archive campaigns, ads and audiences, but only when the connected user explicitly asks for it; it never does so on its own.

4. Google user data

Menze Commerce Copilot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features of the Service: answering the user's questions about their Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Search Console data.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to users.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, and we do not sell it.
  • No human reads Google user data, unless we have the user's affirmative consent for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is required to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Google scopes requested: analytics.readonly, adwords (used only for reporting queries), webmasters.readonly, and the basic openid, userinfo.email and userinfo.profile.

5. Meta platform data

Data obtained from Meta platforms is used only as described in this policy and in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms. It is not sold, not used for advertising unrelated to the client, and not shared with third parties other than the service providers listed in section 6.

6. How we share information

Only with the service providers we need to operate the Service, under confidentiality and security obligations:

  • DevRev, Inc.: the platform that hosts synchronized data, connections and the AI assistants.
  • AI model providers integrated in that platform, which process queries to generate answers.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers (for example, server hosting).

We may also disclose information when required by law or a court order.

7. Where and how long we keep information

  • Information is stored on our providers' infrastructure, which may be located outside the client's country (for example, in the United States), with appropriate safeguards.
  • We keep it while the connection is active and the client's agreement is in force.
  • If the client disconnects an integration, revokes access or cancels the Service, we delete the access tokens immediately and the associated data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

8. Security

  • Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown on screen or written to logs.
  • Communications are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Internal access is limited to staff who need it to operate the Service.

9. Your rights and how to delete your data

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its processing, by writing to privacy@menze.la. We reply within 30 days.

You can also revoke the Service's access at any time:

  • Google: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, select Menze Commerce Copilot and click Remove access.
  • Meta: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Menze Commerce Copilot and click Remove.

Step-by-step instructions are on our Data Deletion page.

If you are an end customer of a store that uses the Service, please contact that store first, as it is responsible for your data. We can also help.

10. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We will publish any new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we will notify clients by email.
